Hello everyone and welcome back. I was offline for a while, but I am back now and also with exciting news. I am moving to London, one of the fashion capitals, and that will come with its challenges. Nevertheless, I am excited about the new opportunities and also the new chapter in my life. I will try my best to keep all of you updated on all the exciting things that will happen.
Now I also want to talk about the exciting new collaboration between Mango and Victoria Beckham. I have to be honest I was surprised by the pieces that they created and brought out. The collection has a lot of symmetrical elements as well as semi see-through fabrics. The pieces are also mostly in black, white, and gray meaning they are very neutral colors. On the website, they let us in on the fact that they wanted the collection to be based on the idea of the modern woman. Now what does that even mean? I think this thought process is exactly what they want people to have. They want to provoke the thought of “what is the modern woman?” I have to say I really enjoy the mix between very sophisticated cuts and modern movement. The collection feels fresh and light as well as powerful and elegant. I think not many can do that and do it so well. I will, however, say that I haven’t bought anything, meaning I can’t say anything about the quality of the fabrics and the fit of the clothes.
